Thriller in Orlando as Raptors get last second win
Amway Center, Orlando, November 20 – Toronto Raptors have managed to get a last-second win as they defeated Orlando Magic. Raptors continue to play as real contenders since they are getting all kinds of wins. Real champions know how to also get ugly wins and last-second wins.
The game started great for the away team as they dismantled the Magic 29 to 17 on the 1st quarter, but on the 2nd quarter they didn’t have the offensive output and they only scored 18 to Magic’s 20, they still went to the halftime break with a 6-point lead. Orlando Magic came alive on the 3rd quarter as they scored 38 points to Raptors 26 to turn things around.
The final quarter was quite fun to watch as both teams battled it out to the end. While the score was 91-89, Evan Fournier managed to dunk and tie the score. Toronto called a timeout and they had only 2.3 seconds to shoot, Kawhi managed to find the open Danny Green and he hit a 2-pointer to give the Raptors a 93-91 lead and with only 0.5 seconds left Orlando couldn’t do anything.
For the away team, Kawhi Leonard as usual was their best player with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal, while for the Magic, Evan Fournier had a game-high 27 points and also added 3 rebounds and 4 assists.
